Clare’s role with McHale Group is to externally peer review and assure the quality of the company’s reports prior to issuance to clients. Clare uses her extensive audit, probity and risk management experience to ensure that clients receive high quality reports.
From a career perspective, Clare was the Head of Corporate Services at NZ On Air from 2015 to 2021, reporting to the CE, the Audit and Risk Committee and the Board. In this role her wide responsibilities included risk management, processes, policies and reporting. Prior to that, she was a Director of Audit New Zealand from 2006 to 2015. She is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
